Adding Ice Cream to Your Breakfast (and Other Healthy Snacks)!

    Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It helps us get started on the right foot each morning and fueled for the day’s adventures. Yet having breakfast does not always mean eating a bowl of cereal, a piece of fruit, or a granola bar on your way out the door. 

    One simple, easy breakfast recipe we enjoy is the breakfast waffle.

    To make this incredible breakfast start with your waffles. Next, add one scoop (or more if you feel you have earned it!) of Butter Pecan Ice Cream on top of your waffle. 

    Lastly, top your ice cream waffle off by drizzling caramel sauce and adding chopped pecans to give your breakfast some added crunch. 

    There are other ways to include Ruggles throughout the day also!

    Add a scoop of ice cream with that power lunch smoothie to get you through the afternoon, make root beer floats for the family at dinner, or top off a bowl of ice cream with some popcorn during family movie night. 

    These quick and easy ideas can be made as an indulgence on a lazy, autumn morning for just yourself, or can be a great way to get the whole family ready for the day!
