Apple Picking and Caramel Apples!

One popular activity of families, friends, and couples is heading to a local orchard to pick pumpkins or fruit. Most popular amongst Ohioans though is picking their own apples, and in our Wayne County area, there are a handful of orchards where visitors flock to pick apples!

Regardless if your preference is to make caramel apples, customize your own Apple Cider float (as discussed here (link) in a previous post), or making apple sauce for the entire family we can all agree that ice cream is a tasty dessert!

So why not throw some apples on top of a bowl of Ruggles Vanilla? Or a cone… whatever your preference may be!

After you pick a bushel of fresh apples, try throwing apple slices on your next cone or bowl of ice cream! And what goes better with apples than caramel sauce (or Ruggles Salted Caramel ice cream) or some freshly chopped nuts?

With delicious Ruggles flavors, topped with apple slices, and then customized with your favorite toppings you can turn a fall evening around the fireplace or taking a family hay ride into a night to remember!
