The spookiest holiday of them all is quickly approaching — Halloween!

If you love Halloween as much as we do, the October holiday means costume parties, haunted houses, scary movies (hiding under a blanket), and passing out candy.

Regardless of what your spooky Halloween traditions may be, there’s always room for Ruggles!

So in preparation of Halloween, try your hand at some homemade Ice Cream Eye Balls! This spooky dessert treat will be the talk of the party and are sure to instill delicious fear into anyone who tries them.

Ice Cream Eye Balls are rather simple, quick, and painless as a sweet treat to trick visitors or spook your friends and family.

    What you will need:
    Vanilla Bean Ice cream
Candy to make the eye ball (get creative!)
    Red Icing pen

Start off with Ruggles vanilla “eyes” cream. Add one scoop of ice cream into bowls in order to form the eye balls themselves. We recommend using Ruggles Vanilla Bean ice cream.

Next, use red icing or a red icing pen to add some veiny detail to your ice cream eye balls. This added detail is sure to add a scare into whoever you are tricking and treating on Halloween.

And then top off your eye balls with your favorite candy in the center (to mimic the pupils). You can use any color of candy to finish your ice cream eye balls!

Get the most out of this Halloween with Ruggles and add a spooky dessert to the mix!
