Try a new, fresh take on a dessert classic…. Which is grilled!
Here is what you will need:
2 Whole bananas
2 Tsp. brown sugar
½ Tsp. of ground cinnamon
3 Large scoops of Ruggles Chocolate Ice Cream
1 Tbsp. of coconut flakes
½ Tsp. of chocolate sprinkles
Start with several bananas split in half (length-wise) with the skins still on, while you preheat your grill to medium heat. And then place the bananas face down.
The bananas only need to stay on the grill for a minute or two and flip them over once you get grill marks on your bananas. Once flipped, leave the bananas on the grill until the peels start to fall off the bananas. When you see that, they are ready to come off the grill.
1. Place your grilled bananas on a plate…
2. Sprinkle cinnamon and they are ready to be combined with your favorite banana split recipe!
3. Next top with a Ruggles flavor of your choice (we recommend you start with chocolate ice cream).
4. Top with coconut flakes (and chocolate sprinkles if that’s your thing)!
